Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
A couple of classic Sher-Wood PMPs used by Al Secord in his heyday with the Black Hawks highlight this lumber, with one dated stamped "27 Nov. 1981" and erroneously stamped "Seccord" on the shaft! That would have been from Al's breakout 44-goal, 303 penalty minute '81-82 season. Original blade and knob tape is also on the other PMP which is autographed on the lower shaft in blue Sharpie. Both are solid and crack-free and join three 1970s' sticks (one Northland, two CCM Custom Pro) that have four-digit numbers in black marker on both the blades and shafts and notes as to Secord's stick preferences, like "duplicate curve & blade - handle must be stiffer - add 1" to handle." Highly-interesting lot from a former 54-goal scorer!
