Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Cool lot of Black Hawks memorabilia features a pair of veteran defenseman Doug Jarrett's game-used CCM hockey gloves from the tail end of his career in the mid-1970s. Also included here is Jarrett's signed framed photo with a dedicated autograph from Doug to the recipients of his gloves, which are not the same as those pictured in his team-issued 8" x 10" shot. These red-black-and-white CCM gauntlets exhibit really nice game wear with the leather palm of the upper right hand more darkened and smoothed. A hole has worn through at the base of the right thumb while the inner edge of the left thumb has separated at the seam from use. Otherwise the palms are intact. Jarrett's #4 is painted in white on the front of the cuff and white vinyl #4 decals are placed over the faded white CCM logos. Gifted by Jarrett in the 1970s to the father-in-law of our consigner who will provide a letter of provenance.
