Unique opportunity for Bobby Hull and Chicago Black Hawks fans is the Golden Jet's bronzed 599th goal puck from late in the 1971-72 season. "Bobby Hull, 599th NHL Goal, Chicago at Philadelphia, March 23, 1972, To Joe and Barbara Rayniak, With Thanks and Best Wishes" reads the octagonal plaque mounted on the front of the goal puck, which has been encased in bronze. Bobby got his 600th goal in his next game two days later in Boston and went on to score two goals in the Black Hawks' last game of the season to reach 50 goals for the fifth and final time in the NHL. The top edge of the bronze coating has four nicks/gouges and there is a slashing mark on the side. A copy of Bobby Hull's signed letter of provenance accompanies this historic Golden Jet goal puck. The puck was gifted by Hull back in the 1970s to the father-in-law of our consigner who will provide a letter of provenance.
