Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/16/2010
Mesh uniform made up for and worn briefly by netminder John Vanbiesbrouck while with the New York Rangers during the mid to late 1980s. The Gerry Cosby-made shirt has the maker's tag in the collar and a peek inside the tail shows a thin snap-style fight strap. Thirteen individually-sewn drop-shadow letters spell out John's surname across the back and the jersey displays light game wear with some stick marks across the back numbers. John was the starter in New York for nine seasons and saw action in at least 40 games each year.
