Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction November 2010

Goaltending great Patrick Roy has signed his game-used stick from the Montreal Canadiens' 1990-91 campaign. Patrick had won the Vezina Trophy as the NHL's top goalie each of the two previous seasons and had one Conn Smythe trophy to his credit and two more in his future, including his second when he led the Habs to their last Stanley Cup in 1993, when he used this Louisville gamer with a "Sep 28 1990" factory stamp on the back of the shaft. "Roy" is stamped low on the front of the shaft. This gorgeous signed Patrick Roy stick retains Roy's original tape jobs on the knob and blade and exhibits light wear in the form of a few marks. Patrick has added his #33 to his black Sharpie signature at the top of the front of the paddle. An outstanding display piece for your Canadiens/Hall of Fame collection.
