Historic piece of wood brought Montreal Canadiens great Guy Lafleur to within one goal of joining the 500-goal club. The Flower used this Sher-Wood PMP 5030 to net a pair of goals - the 498th and 499th of his NHL career - against Pittsburgh's Michel Dion at the old Montreal Forum on December 15, 1983. Factory date stamp on the back of the shaft reads "25 Nov. 1983" on this beauty which retains Guy's white tape knob on the butt end. "Lafleur G. 10" is stamped on the front of the shaft and "(#498-#499 15/12/83 Forum)" is handwritten on the upper part of the back of the shaft. Guy has signed on the now-bare blade which has an ACA holofoil applied to it matching the one on the accompanying COA for his autograph. The stick exhibits great game use and remains in excellent condition overall, with a chip on the top edge of the toe of the blade to note. This historic Guy Lafleur 498th and 499th career goal stick comes with an LOA signed by the Flower himself.
