Maurice Richard signed a huge framed "Rocket" career tribute lithograph by renowned Montreal sports artist Michel Lapensee in this lot of two items, each featuring the Canadiens great's autograph. Maurice signed in black marker below the pencil title "Rocket" at the bottom of his 27" x 22" print, which is professionally matted and displayed in a 36" x 30" wood frame. The print features highlight images from Maurice's legendary career which saw him win eight Stanley Cups, including a record five in a row from 1956-60. This inspirational limited edition lithograph is signed in pencil by Lapensee, who also hand-numbered the print no. 134 of 999. Richard also autographed a vintage 1950s ink blotter for his "Supreme" Rocket Richard bread. Maurice applied a modern blue marker signature, featuring his #9 encircled, along the bottom of this rare promotional ink blotter, which measures 3 1/2" x 7 1/4" and remains in excellent-plus condition, with its light blue reverse intact and unused.
