Rogatien Vachon's value to the Los Angeles Kings is clear to see in this lot which features five awards - including three straight Kings MVP trophies - from the goaltending great's personal collection along with a signed #30 Kings jersey. Goaltenders stand poised atop the first two of Vachon's three straight Kings MVP trophies from the Southern California Hockey Writers' Association. The goalie has been repaired at both skates atop a 16" tall marble and gold-colored metal award for the 1972-73 season with a plaque that reads "Rogatien Vachon 1973 Kings' Most Valuable Player Award" while another netminder is poised atop a crown on Vachon's 9 1/2" tall award from the as the Kings' 1973-74 MVP. A Kings screened logo Viceroy puck tops Vachon's 17 3/8" tall award with a detached "Kings' MVP 1974-75" plaque. The dates and victims of Rogie's six shutouts from the 1974-75 season are engraved on a gold-colored plaque mounted on a 10" x 7" wood plaque. Also included are Vachon's October 1974 Athlete of the Month medallion from the Citizen Savings Athletic Foundation which comes in its original wood case as well as a signed Kings medium-size replica jersey. Comes with Rogatien Vachon's signed LOA.
