Offered here are three awards from the 1974 and 1975 CFL seasons from legendary Canadian tight end Tony Gabriel's personal collection. Gabriel won the CFLPA award for leading the league's East division in pass receiving in his final season with Hamilton in 1974, and again the following year in his debut with Ottawa. The Syracuse grad was also named as a wide receiver on the league's all-Canadian all-star team in 1975, his first season with the Rough Riders. Included here is his framed All-Canadian team certificate signed by CFL commissioner Jake Gaudaur, as well as both his 1974 and 1975 CFLPA award metal and wood plaques. The 1974 plaque lists his 795 total yards with in his final year with the Tiger-Cats and the 1975 plaque, which has a long vertical scratch on its engraved surface, indicates that Gabriel amassed 1,115 yards that season with Ottawa. These unique CFL awards come along with Tony Gabriel's signed letter of authenticity.
