Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
In addition to being the father of one of the greatest goalie's in NHL history, Denis Brodeur made a name for himself as a great Montreal sports photographer. Long before his son, Martin, wore a New Jersey Devils jersey for the first time, Denis Brodeur captured images of a wide range of sports stars, including members of the National League's Montreal Expos. This collection includes a wealth of original Brodeur images from the 1970s and 1980s of Expos such as Morales, Scott, Garret, Montague, Mauch, Kuehl, Cox, Cromartie, McAnally, White, Piche, Landreth, Demola, Davis, Caskey. This fascinating collection of Expos pictures includes over 400 black-and-white and color negatives/positives on 35mm and 2 1/4" negatives. These great early memories of Nos Amours are even more precious since the Expos played their final game in Montreal in 2004. The copyrights of all images of this lot will be transferred to their new owner.
