Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
Classic red Chicago Black Hawks gamer was worn by Anders Eriksson during his brief 13-game stint in the Windy City early in the 2000-01 season. Acquired from Detroit in the trade that sent Chris Chelios to the Red Wings, Eriksson wore this #8 Black Hawks beauty in road games before he was dealt to Florida. Size 56 and "Made in Canada" fly tags remain in the neck on this gamer which features a Hawks 75th anniversary patch sewn on the right breast. CCM airknit fly tag is sewn into the inner left seam and the jersey's fight strap is intact. NHL crest embroidered on the right rear tail has "1" in black marker written on the reverse identifying the jersey as part of the season's first set of jerseys. A pair of team repairs on the left sleeve and board burns and stick marks on both sleeves show nice use on this obviously lightly worn gamer. Comes with a Black Hawks LOA signed by GM Mike Smith.
