Playing the majority of his career both with Wayne Gretzky and in Gretzky's shadow as his so called, "Right-hand Man," Jari Pekka Kurri was considered by many to be perhaps the best defensive forward in the NHL. His two-way abilities were the perfect complement for his hard, accurate shooting and scoring proficiency. This is Jari's game-worn Los Angeles Kings uniform, worn during the 1991-92 season. Best is the stunning intricately-embroidered Silver Anniversary patch up on the left shoulder that balances the NHL's 75th Anniversary crest affixed to the opposite breast. Tagged inside the neck by Maska Ultrafil with a size 54 fly tag off to the side, this example has the two-tone letters forming "Kurri" applied to the back individually without a name bar. Board burns and stick marks appear at both arms and a few more light stick marks can be found on the lower front. Another eight or more marks are there along the white stripe on the back of the jersey below Kurri's number "17". Comes with a letter of authenticity on Kings letterhead signed by the franchise's Executive Vice President Roy Mlaker and another letter from Spivack & Kraut.
