Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
Wondrous white durene v-neck jersey worn by defenseman Ron Ward during the first half of the 1975-76 season with the Cleveland Crusaders. Ward spent parts of three seasons in Cleveland with the team before moving on to the Cowboys, Saints and Jets (in a single season!). The original size "46" Rawlings tag appears in the collar above a striking chain-stitch and tackle twill combo crest. "Ward" runs across the back shoulders in plum letters, applied individually to the uniform (no plate). Nice game wear with dozens of black stick marks on the front and arms. An all-original jersey in excellent overall condition.
