Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
The most exciting hockey player of his era, Montreal Canadiens legend Guy Lafleur terrorized NHL goalies for six straight seasons from 1975 to 1980. He hit the 50-goal mark every year during that span, including a personal best 60 goals in 1977-78 to tie Steve Shutt’s team record set one year earlier. Le Demon Blond, Flower, Guy! Guy! Guy! - he was all that and so much more while winning five Stanley Cups, three Art Ross trophies and two Hart trophies. Guy has signed this beautifully framed 14” x 11” modern print in silver sharpie. A pair of “CH” logo pins flank a silver-colored plaque that reads “#10 Guy Lafleur, Montreal Canadiens”, all inset within the white and black matte along the bottom of the display. This magnificent Guy Lafleur signed display is tastefully presented in a 22” x 18” black frame.
