This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
On February 13th, 1999, the Toronto Maple Leafs played to a packed house in what would be their final game at Maple Leaf Gardens. In an emotional closing ceremony, dozens of former players from the team's glory years filled the ice to say goodbye to the grand old building and those who had come to watch them. Then, the last team ever to play in the old girl on Church faced off against the visiting Chicago Black Hawks. This stunning display features a large 16 x 22" lithographic photo of the grand building surrounded by the silver-ink autographs of those players and staffers from the final roster. Signers include: Mats Sundin, Curtis Joseph, Tie Domi, Glenn Healy, Jason Smith and more... twenty-six in total. Numbered 402 of 999 and professionally framed and single-matted to a finished size of 25 x 31 inches.
