Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010

The coveted O-Pee-Chee die-cut cards of 1936-37 are even more so in high grade, with no Al Murray #104 ever graded higher by PSA than this beauty. It joins one other NM-MT 8 on the PSA population report and pictures a guy whose nickname was "Little Man of Iron". It is said that the Stratford, Ontario-born Murray was the heaviest hitting defenceman, pound-for pound, of his day while forming a d-man duo with Joe Jerwa along the New York Americans' blueline. A big-time addition to your big-time graded/rookie card stash!
