Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
The wool-covered beaming roster of the Toronto Maple Leafs circa the early-1930s are lined up across this wonderful and rare panoramic photograph. We spot King Clancy for sure on one end and there is Lorne Chabot, the goalie, down on the other. With those two present, we can pin the years to 1930-31 through 1932-33 as this was the only period both Chabot and Clancy wore the veined-Leaf. This would mean that Busher Jackson, Happy Day, Joe Primeau and Charlie Conacher are also here! A great franchise loaded with talent, the Leafs would bring home their first Stanley Cup in 1931-32! In excellent condition, with overall dimensions of 5.5" x 17" including the frame.
