Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/22/2010
This marvelous old Canadiens red knit jersey was given by Maurice Richard to a longtime friend of the Rocket. A photograph of the two men standing in front of the jersey will accompany it. An old gold, silver and black Maska company tag is in the collar while an embroidered Habs crest is sewn on the front and white tackle twill number "9"s are sewn on the back and sleeves. The bottom of the big "9" on the back features a fine blue ink signature of the man considered by many as the game's greatest goal scorer. Tie-neck style jersey measures out to size 44 and has been preserved in outstanding like-new condition. Comes with a LOA.
