Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2010

Black Titan ASD 6000 game-used wood stick was used by Eric Lindros during his 1992-93 rookie campaign with the Philadelphia Flyers. Picked first overall by Quebec in the 1991 draft, Lindros held out and forced a trade that ultimately landed him with the Flyers. “E. Lindros” is stamped on the bottom of the shaft along with an “Oct 19 1992” factory date stamp. Nice game use is clear on Lindros’ white tape job on the blade which exhibits good wear but remains intact. The handle’s tape job also remains with black mesh grip tape layered over white tape. Destined for greatness, Lindros won the Hart in 1995, set career scoring highs the following season and led the Flyers to the Stanley Cup finals in 1997 before the cumulative damage of repeated concussions wore him down and forced him to retire at the age of 34 with 372 goals and 865 points in only 760 regular season games.
