Jacques Plante's autographed 1974-75 Edmonton Oilers postcard and two Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier 1979-80 postcards - each pair featuring a vintage signature - are included in this incredible lot of 104 Oilers postcards from the 1970s, including the franchise's WHA debut in 1972-73 and Edmonton's first NHL season. Plante's faded ballpoint signature appears along the bottom of his postcard, one of 14 signed among a near-set of 19 from 1974-75. Gretzky's vintage signature appears on each of his two 1979-80 postcards, with one of the two blue Sharpie autographs slightly smudged in the last name. Messier has signed the front of one of his two postcards and he has personalized his signature "To Dan, Good luck in 80, #11 Mark Messier" on the reverse of the other postcard. 1979-80 postcards signed by Lowe (2), Campbell (2), Dryden, Flett, Fogolin (4), Hamilton (2), Hunter (2), Lumley, McDonald (2), Mio (2) and Semenko are among the 50 included from the Oilers' first NHL season.
