The 2009 Montreal Centennial Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/24/2009
Items spanning Hall-of-Famer Gilbert Perreault's lengthy hockey career make up this dandy lot and include two trophies from his minor hockey days and a time when the NHL was still only a dream. A 13" high wooden trophy with figural hockey player was won by Gilbert as a 12-year-old, the replaced engraved metal plate revealing that he was champion scorer in 1961-62. The Victoriaville native also received the smaller Robin Hood Oats trophy while starring in youth hockey. Its plaque reads "Joueur Le Plus Utile" (Most Valuable Player). Both awards have been autographed on the bottom by Gil and are joined by a commemorative500-goal pennant with facsimile autograph. LOAs signed by Perreault will be included.
