High quality gold ring commemorates Canadas first Olympic hockey gold medal in 50 years and was produced in limited quantities by the Intergold company. A garnet stone is encrusted with the Team Canada logo and is surrounded by Team Canada Olympic Gold Medalists. One shank names Canada and its USA opponent in the gold medal game in Salt Lake City, crossed hockey sticks, a maple leaf and 2002, while the other has the years of Canadas Olympic triumphs inscribed on maple leaves below the words Canadian Pride. Numbered 24/2002 on the interior of the band and also on an engraved brass plate within its customized oak ring box, the handsome ring is size 9.5 and in mint condition. Bravo Canada! Also included is a hoard of mementos from the event including a ticket stub from the gold medal game (writing on front), another from the hockey medal awards ceremony, two more from an earlier match, a team photo with another from the medal presentation, a commemorative coin, a hardcover photo book called Canadian Gold 2002 and a special 48-page Hockey News Olympic Preview edition.[red] Addendum; Ring is numbered 24/2002 on the interior of the band and the engraved brass plate within its customized oak ring box is numbered 21/2002.[/red]
