The 2009 Montreal Centennial Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/24/2009
Well-documented gamer handled by Patrick Roy during the 1991-92 post-season series against the Boston Bruins. The outcome of the match-up is noted along both sides of the paddle and blade in large back print, in French Language, including: Boston Wins Series 4-0 and May 9, 1992, Cdn. 0 Bruins 2 with Patrick Roy Stick at the blade. This Victoriaville Pro was used on the night of May 9th as Patrick failed to keep the score in favor of his Habs. Stamped P. Roy high up on the shaft with Roys familiar knob tape job and blade wrap and featuring that familiar single strip of white tape sneaking up onto the paddle. Well-used with creamy aged tape littered with puck marks and scrapes of red Montreal Forum goal post paint along the paddle. A perfect example of a game used stick from the greatest goalie of all time.
