The 2009 Montreal Centennial Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/24/2009
Fantastic relic Guy Lafleur uniform was a project that started out with a real Wilson Montreal Canadiens game jersey from the 1977-78 season and was transformed into a near-perfect replica of what Guy would have worn that Championship year. The creamy durene, tagged in the neck by Wilson in size 44 has the 77 year tag sewn inside the hem and the tackle twill Habs logo on the front with Guys two tone number 10 sewn on the back and again on each upper arm. Game wear has been added along with eight vintage-style repairs to give this attractive uniform the look and feel of a vintage gamer. Guys surname has been spelled out across the back in two-tone tackle twill letters sewn directly onto the jersey and Lafleur has autographed the upper chest in bold blue sharpie. Will make a perfect display piece!
