This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
Joe Mullen, honored member of the Hockey Hall of Fame and the first US-born player to hit the 500-goal plateau, wore this black CCM uniform while with the Pittsburgh Penguins during the early to mid-Nineties. Joe finished his career with 502 regular season goals and two Lady Byng awards under his belt. This example sports the Maska Ultrafil tagging in the collar noted with a black marker number “7”. Game wear is extensive, with hundreds of stick marks and slashes in varying colors with a number of board burns and five stitched team repairs on the left arm. Originally purchased from noted Penguins expert Casey Samuelson and although Casey claims the shirt has been photo matched, no photo is included that would show the match. [red]Addendum; The jersey was actually photo matched by Casey Samuelson a long time ago and the photo is included in the lot with the jersey.[/red]
