The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
Another great Quebec Nordiques jersey from the WHA years, this white dureen sweater was worn by forward Michel Parizeau during the 1975-76 season, his first as team captain. The Nordiques crest, the numbers, the captain’s “C” and the fleurs-de-lis flowers are all sewn-on while “Parizeau” is screened onto the cloth nameplate. Jersey cludes two team repairs on the front and signs of game wear on the front and sleeves. A nice big slash mark can be found on the left sleeve and there are small pinhead-size holes throughout, notably a dozen on each shoulder. No longer tagged in the neck, the sweater measures out to a size 46 and represents another terrific opportunity for World Hockey Association game worn jersey enthusiasts.
