This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
Great gathering of old rubber biscuits from the Art Ross Tyer company, supplier to the NHL and other pro leagues dating back to the 1940s. Here we go: 1) '40s small octagon Art Ross Tyer NHL game puck in great shape with a pasted photo of a minor leaguer on the back (easily removed). 2) Another ‘40s small octagon gamer, this one shows game use and wear to the orange logo. 3) '50s single-sided large orange octagon NHL game puck with the black border around the logo, in excellent condition. 4) Later Viceroy orange crested NHL practice puck. 5) '50s American Hockey League Art Ross Tyer game puck in great shape! 6) Interesting early '50s double-sided orange octagon NHL game puck with nice logos but obvious game use and a strip of gold labeling marked “Gump Worsley”. Probably a shut out puck left over from his collection.
