The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
Hakan Loob won the Stanley Cup with Calgary in 1988-89, one year after he had a career-high 50-goal, 106-point season with the Flames. After six seasons in the NHL, Loob left North America on top and returned home to Sweden to play for Farjestad. This is the mesh Farjestad jersey he wore during the 1994-95 season, when he had 38 points in 39 games. The purple, yellow and white Adidas jersey has its original size XL and laundry tag “Made in Italy” tag sewn into the neck. His last name is screened in white onto a purple nameplate sewn onto the back of the jersey above his No. 5, which is also screened on to the jersey along with all of the other logos and numbers. Unrepaired hole burned into the back of the jersey to the left of Loob’s number and unrepaired cuts on the right sleeve above the cuff and on the bottom of the front of the jersey, just above the Knorr sponsor ad.
