The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
This fantastic white Toronto Maple Leafs cardigan sweater features the team’s modern logo which was adopted in the late-1960s in the wake of Canada’s centennial celebration. The Maple Leafs claimed four Stanley Cups in the 1960s, three straight from 1962-64 before adding a fourth in 1967 when a veteran Toronto squad upset the heavily-favored Montreal Canadiens. This gorgeous cardigan still has its original laundry instruction neck tag identifying it as a size XL and 100 percent acrylic. The left breast features a wonderful felt white Maple Leafs logo with blue lettering and borders. The royal blue neck collar extends from hem to hem with five buttons and two pockets are also accented in blue.
A fantastic keepsake that harkens back to the Maple Leafs’ most recent championship teams.
