The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008

This fantastic goalie stick comes straight from the hands of one of arguably the best to ever play the position. By the time Patrick Roy retired following the 2002-03 season, he had four Stanley Cup titles to his credit and records for the most victories and games played by a goalie during the regular season. Roy, the only-three-time winner of the Conn Smythe Trophy, not only held the record for playoff wins with an unbelievable total of 151, he also left the game as the all-time leader in playoff games played by anyone, forwards and defencemen included. The date stamp on this authentic Roy Koho Revolution goalie’s stick was smudged when applied at the factory and appears to be March 06 of either 1994 or 1995. Roy has personalized his autograph on the upper paddle of this white stick with red letters outlined in blue. The original white tape remains on the blade and the butt end has glue grip tape with a big white knob. A fantastic stick from the legendary Canadiens/Avalanche Hall-of-Famer.
