The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
This weighty neon Habs logo once hung from the ceiling along the corridors of the old Forum in Montreal. The historic building was home to the Montreal Canadiens from 1924 to 1996 and was witness to countless Stanley Cup runs and victories. The lighted display sign contains neon tubes and glows blue, blanc et rouge to light the way. Very heavy, measuring out to 36” wide and 24” tall, not including the mounts that rise out of the top, this double-sided sign also has a depth of almost a full twelve inches! Preserved in excellent working order. Hang this one over the dining room table to pronounce your team pride in bright neon.
