The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
While Andy Moog was not the biggest goalie in the league, he possessed
cat-like reflexes, a quick glove hand, a great sense for positional play and an outstanding ability to control rebounds. These talents earned Andy a
well-deserved spot in the 300-win club. Offered are these well-worn goalie pads that protected the shins of netminder Andy Moog during his final NHL season in Montreal. This pair of Vaughn Vision pads in the bleu, blanc et rouge of the Montreal Canadiens show heavy game wear with hundreds of stick and puck marks and good wear on the leather rolls. Each pad has “Moog” embroidered on the side and all of the straps are intact.
