The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
Incredible grey practice jersey worn by the superstitious Patrick Roy throughout the Canadiens’ run to the Cup in 1993. This heavily-worn uniform, with the tackle twill Habs logo and large CCM logo on the front, was the only one Patrick would wear in 1993 and he refused to change up as long as they were winning. Hundreds of stick and puck marks litter the front and arms and you’ll find areas of heavy pilling up on the collar. A treat can be found inside the neck where Roy has added his nickname “Casseau” along with the initials of his kids “J.F.J.” and his number “33” in marker. Tagged by Maska with a size 56 fly tag off to the side. Wow!
