The Jacques Laperriere Auction - Fall 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/21/2008
Over the course of his lengthy career with the Montreal Canadiens as a player and then as an assistant coach, Jacques Laperriere collected the jewelry that makes up this intriguing lot. A highlight of this remarkable collection of baubles is a set of gold cuff links and a gold pin each in the form of the Canadiens’ familiar CH logo with a small red stone mounted at the bottom tip of the “C” in the logo. The set is engraved 18K from Birks jewelers. A stylish black and gold Raymond Weil Swiss watch in 18K gold is in pristine condition with a Canadiens logo on its face. The original Raymond Weil tag remains on the clasp of the watch that sits in its original black leather Raymond Weil case. A very well-worn gold colored Citizen watch has Laperriere’s name engraved on the back and a gold colored brooch spells out the team’s familiar “HABS” nickname in rhinestones. This lot of Canadiens jewelry shines on with Jacques Laperriere’s signed letter of authenticity.
