Hockey Memorabilia Auction - Spring 2008
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/10/2008
The image here of Wendel Clark finishing off one of his bone-crushing body checks conjures up great memories for Maple Leaf faithful who rank the Leafs' number one pick in the 1985 draft as one of the most popular wearers of the blue and white. Entitled appropriately "Intensity" by the artist, who joined Clark in signing the limited edition lithograph (604/1717), the print has been professionally framed and matted to 29" by 37". Wendel's first nine seasons with Toronto included a 34-goal rookie season and a career high 46 in 1993-94. Coupled with his intense play, Clark was one of the league's best power forwards, earning the admiration of Maple Leaf supporters.
