The Calgary Spurs won the Western Canada Senior Hockey League championship for the second year in a row in 1966-67 and went on to play for the Canadian senior hockey title. The Spurs faced the Drummondville Eagles in the 1967 Allan Cup final, losing the series in four straight to the Quebec team. This original studio-mounted 10” x 8” team photo shows the Spurs lined up with their hardware on the ice in front of them. The print is mounted on its original 14” x 12” cardboard backing with the team info listed at the top and the players and administrators’ names below.
