Hockey Memorabilia Auction - Spring 2008

Wayne Gretzky led a talented squad of future Hall-of-Famers to their first Stanley Cup Championship in 1984. Typically, each member of the team was presented with hefty gold rings to mark the occasion. Additionally, the players were given the option of purchasing a women's ring, women's pendant or this stunning men's chain and bracelet. Sitting atop the bracelet's bar is the solid gold ring top, identical to the peak of the 1984 Stanley Cup Championship ring awarded to each member of the team. A large cubic zirconia stone floats in a sea of blue surrounded by the words "Edmonton Oilers" and the year designation "1984" carved in gold. The bracelet itself is gold-plated as marked on the clasp. In excellent condition with some wear on the chain only. Much rarer than a ring as not every player or executive staff member would have chosen the option to purchase an example of the bracelet. This is the only one we have seen.
