Born in 1893, George Sisler grew up and played in the era with the legendary Ty Cobb. While playing he became a legend of his own as in 1922 Ty Cobb had an amazing batting average of .401, but lost the batting crown to Sisler who scorched pitchers with an incredible .420 average. Elected to the Hall of Fame in 1939 and passed away in 1973, Sisler retired with a .340 career batting average. Fortunately for collectors he signed this postcard (7/10) and it has been PSA/DNA certified.
