Elmer Flick played for Philadelphia in the National league before crossing over to the “New American League” after the 1901 season to play for the Cleveland Indians. He was renowned for his fine hitting and great speed, which saw him finish his outstanding career with a .313 lifetime batting average to go along with 330 stolen bases. Flick won one batting crown as well and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1963 by the veterans committee. He passed away in 1971 but signed this black and white postcard in 1965 when he was 89 years old as he indicated next to his signature. It has been PSA/DNA certified and rates a 7/10.
