Sam Crawford began his brilliant 19-year major league career back in 1899 with Cincinnati. He played four years there, and then became one of the Detroit Tigers’ all-time greatest players. He finished his career with 2961 hits which included an amazing 309 triples. Always a clutch hitter, Crawford drove in over 1500 runs with less than 100 career home runs. Sam autographed this Artvue Hall of Fame postcard before he passed away in 1968 and it has been PSA/DNA certified. His nickname was “Wahoo” and he neatly signed “Wahoo Sam Crawford” on the bottom of this postcard. This signature rates a nice 8/10.
