This splendid game worn home Expos jersey was donned by hard-throwing righthander Carl Pavano. Best known at the time for being the pitcher traded for Pedro Martinez, he has since become an 18-game winner in 2004 and a World Series champ in 2003. This jersey is neatly signed on the front with a black sharpie and has the 911 American flag patch sewn on the back collar, with an Expos logo on the left sleeve. The Russell Athletic size 48 and 4 inch extra length tags are sewn on the tail. Excellent overall condition. A certificate of authenticity from the Phillies Phestival, where this jersey was purchased at auction in 2004, will also be included. The Phillies Phestival is an annual autograph party and auction to benefit ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and has been held yearly since 1984 by the Philadelphie Phillies.
