Montreal Expos 2001 home white pinstriped jersey was donned by Expos’ ace hurler Javier Vazquez. While starting his career in Montreal Vazquez began a streak of winning ten or more games eight straight years with no better season than this 2001 campaign that saw him win 16. An absolutely beautiful looking jersey that is also signed on the front with a black sharpie between the numbers and logo. An Expos logo is also sewn on the left sleeve as well as the scarce 911 American flag patch on the back collar, with the Russell Athletic size 46 and extra length tag sewn on the tail. A certificate of authenticity from the Phillies Phestival, where this jersey was purchased at auction in 2004, will also be included. The Phillies Phestival is an annual autograph party and auction to benefit ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and has been held yearly since 1984 by the Philadelphie Phillies.
