From the Montreal Expos' first real contending season comes this official National League (Feeney) ball, autographed by 21 member of the 1979 Expos. A mix of bold and not-so-bold ballpoint signatures are highlighted by the (bold) sigs of Andre Dawson, Larry Parrish, Ross Grimsley, Rodney Scott, Rudy May, Tom Hutton, Tony Bernazard and Ken Macha. Rather faded but still decipherable are autographs penned by Rusty Staub, Tony Perez, Dave Cash, Woodie Fryman, Dale Murray, Dan Schatzeder, Stan Bahnsen and Duffy Dyer, with five others posing somewhat of a challenge. The Expos challenged the Pirates in '79, posting a 95-65 record but finished two games back of Pittsburgh in the NL East. Precious souvenir from a memorable season exhibits browning/discoloration but will be a fine addition to your Expos shrine. This ball is originally from Rusty Staub's collection.
