Recollections of Ross Grimsley's off-speed junk baffling opposition hitters come flowing back to Expos fans with this jersey, worn by Ross a season after he became Montreal's only 20game winner in history. Grimsley went 10-9 in 1979, helping the 'Spos to a (95-65) second place finish. A size 44 Wilson tag is in the neck here, with evidence of a nameplate removal before "Grimsley" was stitched on in individual letters. Additionally, a patch looks to have been removed where "Expos" is spelled out beneath the team crest that Ross autographed in blue ballpoint. Another killer road blue!
