One of the most popular hurlers in Expos' history, lefty Woodie Fryman donned this blue knit road jersey in 1979 as Montreal became a bona-fide contender. Woodie went 3-6 with 10 saves out of the bullpen, wearing this uniform part of the way. Set 2 jersey has a "79 2" patch sewn onto the front tail, with a size 46 Wilson tag in the collar. Numbers, letters and crest are in tackle twill and sewn-on. Evidence of a nameplate removal is to note. Pants are size 38 with a "35 79 26 2" blue knit tag sewn in the waist, where "Crowley" appears in black marker, suggesting Terry Crowley had previously worn them. With significant grayish blotches, an "error" is charged to the laundering staff!
