Acquired by the Expos for the stretch run in 1981, Jeff Reardon went on to give Montreal five straight 20-or-more-save seasons, successfully closing 23 times in 1984, prior to his 41 saves in '85. Size 44 blue knit road jersey here is tagged in the neck by Rawlings, with "84" chain-stitched to a tackle twill tag sewn on the tail. All numbers and letters, along with the tri-color team crest, are sewn-on in gorgeous tackle twill. In great shape with no notable flaws and a great addition to an Expos/closer jersey collection. The jersey also comes with a letter of authenticity from B & E Collectibles of New York.
