Fabulous home white Expos jersey was worn at Montreal's Olympic Stadium in 1979 by one of the greatest Expos of all time. Andre Dawson, in his third full big league season, smacked 25 homers, drove in 92 runs, swiped 35 bases and, with Cromartie and Valentine, formed the best young outfield in the majors. Knit jersey by Rawlings has a company tag in the neck indicating size 42 while a "Set 1 1979" tag is in the hem. Everything is sewn-on in nice tackle twill, including the arched "Dawson". Showing game use and a few miscellaneous small stains, most notably on the lower back, along with blue bleeding at the armpits (from an undershirt). Crest features a partially-smudged autograph, penned by the Expos' one and only "Hawk".
