This is a splendid Expos game worn jersey donned by star center fielder Willie Davis during the 1974 season. He is best remembered for his outstanding L.A. Dodger career which saw him swipe 20 or more bases for eleven straight seasons as well as winning the World Series twice. He played one season with Montreal as he came over in the Mike Marshall trade and what a nice season he had, batting a solid .295 with 25 steals and 180 hits. This jersey shows some great game wear due to his aggressive sliding and great outfield play. A Rawlings size 42 tag is sewn in the collar, with a small "1974" year tag on the tail. Great looking game jersey with Willile's well known number one on the front and back.
