Originally part of the personal collection of legendary Hall-of-Famer Eddie Shore who had to move his Springfield Indians to Buffalo in ‘42-43 because the arena in Springfield was taken over by the U.S. Quartermaster for use during the war, this 15” miniature wooden hockey stick is highlighted by Mr. Shore’s bold black ink autograph near the butt end. The 15 other signatures were penned by the ‘42-43 AHL Calder Cup champion Buffalo Bisons. Signing the shaft and blade were the likes of team scoring leader Bill Summerhill, Max Bennett, Doug Lewis, Art Chapman, Bob Blake, Bill Cunningham, goalie Gord Bell, Scotty Alexander, Bill Allum and Hall of Fame “builder” Keith Allen. The back of the blade is where Max Kaminsky signed. Mostly fountain pen sigs average 8/10 and make for a great AHL memento.
