Splendid piece of lumber for a big-time vintage hockey stick collection was, like one side of the paper label boasts, “Made To Stand The Strain Of Canada’s Greatest Game.” Black puck marks are on the rather narrow untaped blade, where “Spalding” in block letters is stamped. A 6” blade crack was neatly repaired with glue decades ago. The paper label meanwhile also has “The Spalding No. 2 Hockey Stick” on one side and three company logos on another. Straight-bladed relic is stamped “Neutral” up by the butt end and is mighty cool!
